RETURNS POLICY

Delivery times

We are a small business and as such only ship twice a week, normally on a Monday and Thursday (depending on public holidays).

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We use Royal Mail ‘tracked to delivery point’ service that after dispatch aims to deliver in 2-3 working days (UK), 3-5 workings days Europe, 5-7 days worldwide.

International duties

If you are a non-UK customer, your package may be subject to duties when it arrives in your country which customers will need to pay on receipt of the shipment. Unfortunately, we have no way of predicting these charges, as they differ significantly from country to country and are a matter between you and your government and therefore your responsibility. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

You should also be aware that some local customs offices may charge a "handling fee" in addition to the duties.

We cannot list the shipment as a "gift" on the customs form (even if you are giving the goods to someone as a 'gift') as we are a commercial operation and you have paid us for the goods.

Returns

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Unfortunately we do not accept vinyl records that have been opened (unless the original packaging was an unsealed format).

Every item is checked prior to dispatch and kept as a record. Any intentional damage to the product prior to return will be charged in full and cannot be returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, we please ask you to first check your bank account, then contact your credit card company (it may take some time before your refund is officially posted) and then if still no joy, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@eatethio.com. We cannot guarantee that a replacement will be available. 

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Eat Ethio, Studio 122, 122 Northdown Road, Margate, CT9 2RB United Kingdom.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Please send by a trackable shipping service, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
