We’ve got a lot love for Dexter Story, the LA based musician and producer whose first LP, Wondem we adore, and his follow-up, Bahir, takes it to another level.
His love and study for the music of Ethiopia and the region provides a unique interpretation, fusing Ethio Jazz, Somali Soul, Tuareg and Afro-funk and features incredible artists including Sudan Archives and our fave Etsegenet Mekonnen. 
Stand out tracks for us are the mesmerising Shuruba Song and the epic rolling title track, Bahir.
